Congratulations to the Girls’ Varsity Track Non-Public B State Champions!
Lyndsey Smith captured three Gold Medals and one Silver Medal in her four events. Her success, as well as the overall team performance, propelled Eastern Christian to its first Non-Public B track and field state championship title Saturday.
“I am so proud of the entire team. It took a total team effort with eight girls scoring in order for us to win the championship,” Coach Apol.
The girls’ team scored a team high ranking of 87.5—this score far outpaced the rest of the field of 17 other teams.
